Report: Minister says Russian inflation can exceed 4.3% in 2021
MOSCOW, Jun 7 (PRIME) – Russia’s inflation can slightly exceed a 4.3% forecast of the Economic Development Ministry in 2021, Minister Maxim Reshetnikov told the Financial Times in an interview released on Monday.
He added that the ministry may adjust the forecast in July although there are risks of failing to do so.
The central bank forecasts a 4.7–5.2% inflation and First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov 4.5–5.0% in 2021.
